Wreckage (1995)
The one and only unfinished affair in our indie adventure. It is important to vent our failures in the open to see and understand the beauty of this amazing ride. Wreckage promised to be a fine indie film. It had all the right ingredients: an appealing story line, a nice and professional cast and a reasonable budget. It had lots of production values, beautiful people and the right balance of sex and violence, very much the only two factors that audiences look for in a film. Great sceneries, nudity, adventure and a compelling human outcome. However, the principal investor, for reason still unknown, decided to pull out his support and production wrecked as its title and negatives must be resting now in the bottom of the oblivion. Pity. It was going to be a fine film.Written and Directed by Manuel Montenegro
